Privacy Policy

Summary
Squig-AI is run by one developer. We store only what we need to run your account and licenses. We don't sell your data, show ads or use analytics or tracking.
What we store
- Your account: your email, the name you give when you sign up, and your password, which is stored hashed, never in plain text.
- Your licenses: which products you own, license status, and the Stripe reference IDs and amount for each purchase.
- Device activations: when you sign in to one of our desktop apps, it sends a random install ID, your computer name, operating system and app version, and checks in regularly while you're signed in.
- Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.
Services we use
- Payments: Stripe handles checkout and your card details. We never see or store your card number.
- Contact form: messages are delivered to our inbox through Web3Forms.
- Email: account emails such as sign-up confirmation and password reset are sent through Zoho Mail.
- Server logs: our server may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
Squig Assistant
Squig Assistant talks directly from your computer to the AI service you choose, such as Anthropic, OpenAI, GitHub Models, or your own Ollama, LM Studio or other server. Your chats, and system details it uses to tailor commands (including your user name and computer name), go to that service, not to us. Web searches go to Brave Search and DuckDuckGo. We never see your chats or searches.
Your settings and conversation memory stay on your computer. API keys are kept in your operating system's keyring, or in the app's local settings file if your system has no keyring.
Cookies
The site keeps your sign-in session in your browser so you stay logged in. There are no ad or tracking cookies.
Deleting your account
To delete your account, email contact@squig-ai.com from the address on your account. Stripe keeps its own payment records.
